I’ve tried but I’d rather live on the verge of constant puke than listen to another note of his music. And his books are bollocks. I don’t believe him. All the greats are great actors – to act is better than to be real I think – but tall-head Cave – and maybe that’s it, the size of his head, his demonic brow: a face trapped in a permanent hall of mirrors – is a bad actor. The soapland Neighbour who never was but should have been. Bury him please, quickly, back in the sand of his backward birthplace.
